This autumn season, high, draped necklines are in, according to reviews on the recent New York Fashion Week. Another color making its comeback on the runway is red; bright red paired with other neutral elements like beige, black, and even brown. Crisp, black and white suits are also in this season, sporting minimalistic designs and plain coloring, with hardly any embellishment. PVC's introduction of burgundy raincoats has also taken the lead this season, with a waxy, leather-like outer layer. Huge, fuzzy sweaters and embellished collars are also a vintage trend of the fall season, one that, in my opinion, isn't just a passing fad.
This season's fashion trends mix the old with the new: warm and fuzzy vintage reds, browns, beiges, and creams, with minimalistic, black and white severe-cut necklines and hemlines with little embellishment and plain coloring.
